History Series Part 9
Building the City Park
Amidst the heavy industrialization, planners wanted an ecological lungs-space for the residents. A significant parcel of somewhat barren, undulating land was chosen and transformed into the iconic City Park. Featuring a sprawling artificial lake, small islands connected by quaint bridges, a toy train, and meticulously planted flora, it reflects incredible urban landscaping efforts. It has remained the heart of the city's serene recreational life.
